Of the more than 9,200 companies across 59 industries that were evaluated, only 848 were selected for the 2026 edition of the Yearbook.
Argos, the cement company of Grupo Argos, was recognized in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026 as one of the top-performing companies in sustainability within the building materials industry, reinforcing its leadership and its position as a global benchmark in environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) matters.
The Yearbook features the most outstanding performers in S&P Global’s Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) from the previous year. It is one of the most widely recognized sustainability assessments worldwide, evaluating companies’ performance by industry across three key dimensions: economic and corporate governance, environmental, and social. More than 9,200 companies participate in this assessment, which also serves as a gateway to global benchmarks such as the Dow Jones Best in Class Indices and the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook.
Argos was once again recognized and ranked among the companies with the strongest sustainability performance in the building materials industry—an achievement that reflects the strength of its strategy and the alignment between its public commitments and its management practices.
