- Presentes Corporación delivered eight urban homes this week in Dabeiba, Antioquia, to families affected by the 2020 rainy-season emergency, in a central location that ensures access to services and support networks.
- Cementos Argos, through its Casa Para Mí program, served as the project’s strategic and conceptual partner, contributing its expertise in urban densification to develop a sustainable and dignified housing solution.
- This project reflects the power of purpose-driven partnerships, combining capabilities to reduce the housing deficit through homes with a bioclimatic approach, construction efficiency, and social and territorial sustainability.
Casa Para Mí experience in urban densification made it possible to design a sustainable, well-located project with access to essential services, which today benefits eight families affected by the 2020 winter emergency.
In a partnership that brings together capabilities to transform lives, Presentes Corporación delivered eight urban homes this week in the municipality of Dabeiba, just two blocks from the main park. The families who received the homes had been affected by the November 13, 2020 rainy-season emergency, which caused streams to overflow and triggered landslides in the rural areas of El Mohán, Dabeiba Viejo, El Botón, and the Revenidero sector.
The project was made possible through the joint work of Cementos Argos and its social initiative Casa Para Mí, which served as an intellectual and strategic partner, contributing its technical expertise in urban densification as a sustainable and viable housing solution for developing social housing on well-located land with access to infrastructure.
“This project is the result of more than four years of work by Corporación Presentes, and we are proud to have contributed through our technical expertise to make it possible,” said Juan Diego García, Director of Habitat.

The homes delivered have 55 m² of built area and were designed with a focus on sustainability and bioclimatic principles, in a prime location that provides easy access to public services, transportation, and support networks. Their location within the urban center also speeds up the families’ social integration process and reduces land development costs.
Since 2018, Cementos Argos has driven Casa Para Mí, a social initiative aimed at reducing the housing deficit through dignified housing projects in rural and urban areas, working hand in hand with local and regional partners. Throughout its trajectory, the initiative has developed more than 160 homes in rural and urban areas in medium and small municipalities, and over 2,000 additional homes are currently in the study and design phase for different regions of Colombia.

Currently, Casa Para Mí has more than 2,000 homes in the study and design phase across different regions of Colombia, reaffirming its commitment to housing solutions that integrate sustainability, construction efficiency, and social purpose.
“This project in Dabeiba is a testament to the power of purpose-driven partnerships. We thank Presentes Corporación for its leadership and for allowing us to be part of this collective dream,” concluded Juan Esteban Calle, president of Cementos Argos.
