Investors who are committed with sustainable companies now have at their disposal the new selection of the FTSE4Good, an index created by FTSE Russell to measure the performance of companies that demonstrate solid environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices, and one of the main in the world, along with the DJSI Sustainability Index. This year, Argos, the Colombian cement company of the Grupo Argos, repeats among the leading companies in the construction materials sector with the best practices in these aspects and is consolidated as the only Colombian company outstanding in this category among North American, European and Asian organizations.
The companies are evaluated on more than 150 indicators that cover topics such as efficient use of water, climate change, biodiversity, health and safety, labor standards, human rights and communities,
fiscal transparency, corporate governance and anti-corruption.
